Top 25 Colleges in New York

Delhi Recognized for Affordability, Student Services, Online Programs

SUNY Delhi is one of the Top 25 four-year colleges in New York for 2018-2019, according to a new ranking by OnlineColleges.com, a free resource for information about online colleges and degree programs. The full ranking is available online.

Using the most recent data available from the National Center for Education Statistics' Integrated Postsecondary Education DataStudents walking to class from dorms System (IPEDS), the ranking is based on a variety of factors, including affordability, student services, and the availability of online programs. More than 2,500 accredited colleges and universities were analyzed for the ranking.

"This ranking reflects our commitment to student success by addressing the issues that impact our students the most," said SUNY Delhi President Michael Laliberte. "Our philosophy is simple: the student is the most important person at SUNY Delhi. This approach is at the heart of the outstanding student services and flexible study options SUNY Delhi offers. We are also proud to have accessible tuition fees and below average student debt rates."

As part of its dedication to student excellence and success, SUNY Delhi provides extensive student services in areas such as health and counseling, career exploration, and tutoring. A number of new student centers have recently been introduced, including the Mosaic Multicultural Center and the Center for Applied Learning. A new Living Learning Community will provide programming for residents around the themes of LGBTQ + Ally issues and social justice.

Earlier this year, SUNY Delhi was recognized as one of New York's best online colleges by BestValueSchools.org. SUNY Delhi offers eight online degrees: an associate's degree in Electrical Construction and Management, bachelor's degrees in Nursing, Criminal Justice, Culinary Arts Management, Event Management, and Hotel and Restaurant Management, and master's degrees in Nursing Administration and Nursing Education. Online classes are available at the start of the on-campus term each fall, winter, and spring semester, and can be completed at a self-directed pace. Online students have access to a number of online resources, including online tutoring, library services, discussion forums, and academic advisement.
