Welcome to the inauguration of Dr. Mary Bonderoff, the 11th president of SUNY Delhi!
Thursday, April 3, 2025
12:00 p.m. (noon)
Clark Field House
SUNY Delhi
Join us for a series of events celebrating the inauguration, the college, students, and the future of the SUNY Delhi community in the days and weeks leading up to the inauguration ceremony!

It is a longstanding tradition for colleges and universities to host formal inauguration events to mark transitions in presidential leadership at an institution.
The ceremony will feature an academic procession with special guests dressed in the academic regalia from a number of colleges and universities, SUNY System, and the SUNY Chancellor and SUNY Board of Trustees.
To help SUNY Delhi "kick off" Dr. Bonderoff’s presidency, we are encouraging guests — as well as members of the academic procession and staging party — to wear their favorite "kicks." Dr. Bonderoff has become known for pairing even the most professional attire to her signature Converse All-Stars. Wearing your own favorite “kicks” will bring an extra measure of fun to the inauguration ceremony!

Inauguration ceremony program
- Music from students; video compilation of well wishes
- Student, alumni, and trustee representatives; delegates from colleges and universities across the region; greetings from public officials

- Inaugural address delivered by President Bonderoff
- Remember to join the celebration in your favorite "kicks"!

Inauguration Gala
Following the ceremony, the celebration continues with a fundraising gala to commemorate Dr. Bonderoff’s inauguration. A number of sponsorship and ticket options are available.

Sheltered by the Catskill Mountains
In a vale so fair,
Stands our College well-beloved
By the Delaware. Delhi, hail, our Alma Mater,
May we strive to learn.
Through our time and ever after,
Longing to return.
When we leave to start life’s journey,
Our sweet memories
Will recall the joyous hours
We have spent with thee.
Delhi, hail, our Alma Mater,
Sing to thee our praise
With our knowledge as an ally
Ever through our days.
