SUNY Delhi Partners with New Mind Global Academy to Expand Access

SUNY Delhi and New Mind Education are pleased to announce a strategic partnership to implement New Mind's Global Academy. Global Academy will bring together SUNY Delhi's excellent experiential learning opportunities and New Mind's specialization in global partnership development to attract more qualified international students to attend SUNY Delhi.

A global platform of various international institutions in China, India, Vietnam, and Taiwan will be established for SUNY Delhi students and faculty to expand their international horizons. Faculty will have the opportunity to teach overseas, and students will begin their general education requirements in their home country before arriving to SUNY Delhi's campus to complete their academic program. SUNY Delhi will become a leader of internationalization in Central New York while making its academic programs academically and financially accessible to many international students.

Initial engagement has been started with upGrad Global, Amity University in India, East China University of Political Science and Law, and University of International Business and Economics in China.

"We are excited to enter into a partnership with these reputable global universities," said Dr. Mary Bonderoff, acting president at SUNY Delhi. "Our unique academic programs, award-winning faculty, and integrated hands-on experience and internship opportunities currently serve over 3,500 domestic students. With this partnership, we are looking forward to attracting even more international students that could contribute to our diverse and innovative campus."

"Launching Global Academy is just the first step," said Sarah Bjork, executive director of New Mind Global Academy. "Very soon we will have students from all over the world present on SUNY Delhi's campus. We are very honored to collaborate with SUNY Delhi and look forward to a dynamic partnership."
