Shared Governance

College Council
The College Council serves as an oversight and advisory body to SUNY Delhi, the Officer in Charge, and senior leadership. Meetings are held at least four times per year. These meetings are open to the public. Under the provisions of state law, a portion of the meeting may be held in executive session.  

Executive Leadership Team
The Executive Leadership Team (ELT) comprises the Officer in Charge, Provost, Vice Presidents, Chief Diversity Officer and Chief of Staff. The ELT meets weekly to discuss strategic priorities and operations at SUNY Delhi. 

President's Cabinet
The President’s Cabinet includes members of the Executive Leadership Team, Assistant Vice Presidents and Deans. The President’s Cabinet meets weekly to implement the college’s priorities and ensure pertinent information is being shared at numerous levels of the college. 

Leadership Team
The Leadership Team is an inclusive body of representation including members of the President’s Cabinet and shared governance leadership such as the bargaining units, College Senate, and Student Senate. The Leadership Team meets monthly to engage in leadership activities to enable leaders to be more effective in their roles. Importantly, this team was established to strengthen collaboration and communication across the college.  

Senior Council
The Senior Council is an opportunity for all campus members to participate in engaged activities to meet folks from other areas on campus, build relationships while improving the inner workings of the college. It typically meets twice a semester, at the beginning and end. The intent of these meetings is to convene a broader group of leaders on campus to inform and provide feedback on various initiatives, engage in professional development, and foster community. The group was established to ensure all campus members were invited to have their perspectives and insights including in improving the campus environment.

Student Advisory Council 

The President’s Student Advisory Council is composed of students from a variety of academic disciplines, involvement, and diverse student backgrounds. Through this Council, representatives consult and advise on initiatives and priorities pertinent to the student experience. Members are empowered to constructively share thoughts and ideas on numerous subjects in an administrative setting.
