Succeed with EOP

The Educational Opportunity Program is designed for students who have the ability and talent to succeed in college, but have had limited academic and financial options to prove their dedication. EOP is for students who do not meet the traditional admissions standards but prove the desire and potential to earn a college degree. It provides supplemental support in tutoring, counseling and financial aid to eligible students.

EOP Application Checklist

Apply using the SUNY Application or Common Application and check “yes” when asked about applying for the EOP program.
Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with our school code ‘002857’ at the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) website.
Complete the EOP Financial Information form and required documents through the SUNY EOP Eligibility Review Application.
Transfer Students: The Director of the Educational Opportunity Program or college personnel from your transferring college must complete the SUNY Delhi EOP Transfer Verification Form and send it directly to the SUNY Delhi EOP Office, eop@delhi.edu. (only for transfer students)

The Educational Opportunity Program works in partnership with students throughout their college careers by building on your strengths to be successful at a College of Technology. Services and supports include:

Pre-freshman summer program experience
Academic and career advisement
Individual and group tutoring services are available free-of-charge
Personal counseling
Skill development workshops
Supplemental instruction
Peer mentoring
Modest financial support to help assist with non-tuition costs such as textbooks and supplies
New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) eligibility for 10 semesters for students enrolled in a 4-year program
