Science Transfer Options

Many students who receive an AS in General Sciences transfer to other schools for a BS or higher degree. An AS degree at SUNY Delhi will give students the information and skills they need to begin and excel in any science-based field.

For students who plan on transferring within the SUNY network of universities, the SUNY Seamless Transfer Path system exists to allow students continue higher degrees at a different SUNY school, while not forcing students to retake classes taken at SUNY Delhi. If students follow a Seamless Transfer Path, they will find themselves ready to start their third year of classes upon transferring to another SUNY institution.

For students looking to transfer to a non-SUNY school, the courses taken at SUNY Delhi as part of the AS degree will provide a strong foundation of knowledge to let them succeed at their new institution. This degree will also give them a head start on the higher degree regardless of where they transfer. Graduates of the AS program at SUNY Delhi have successfully transferred to many nationally known universities such as:
