How to earn Honors Program Points

The Honors Program has been redesigned to make it more flexible for students to complete and to better reflect the applied learning opportunities available at SUNY Delhi. 

3-Point Options

• Honors designated courses (ex. HONR 100, HONR 230, etc.), Honors contract courses, and Honors Independent studies (3 credits=3 points)

2-Point Options

• On-Campus Conference presentations (STAR, etc.) (submit documentation of presentation)
• Presentation at an off-campus conference (submit documentation of presentation)

1-Point Options

• Conference attendance on or off campus (with mini-write up)
• Community Service, 15 hours (with mini-write up)
• Attend HONR Sponsored Events (with mini-write up)
• Alumni Shadowing, 1 day (with mini-write up)
• Presentation on the Honors Program (e.g. volunteer tabling at Open House event, etc.)
