January 2025 Bronco Ready Orientation – Saturday, January 18 - Monday, January 20
Mission Statement: The mission of the January Bronco Ready Orientation Program is to provide meaningful programs and services that will enhance students’ sense of belonging to the SUNY Delhi community that prepares and positions them for academic and personal success.
The January Bronco Readuy Orientation Program is required for all new incoming undergraduate students. This includes commuters and transfer students. It does not include any readmit or reentry students who were previously enrolled and attended SUNY Delhi.
Online Component
Students will be sent information to their SUNY Delhi email in early January about the required online course. The course is self-paced online. Both parts must be completed before the first day of classes. Failure to complete the course will result in a hold on the student's records.
ID Photos
You must submit a suitable photo for your ID card as soon as possible and well prior to Orientation. You will need to bring a government issued ID card with you to receive your SUNY Delhi ID card. This is a driver's license or government issued photo ID card. Only the Delhi Student willbe able to obtaing their own ID card. Residential Move-In Information
New Residential Student Move In is on Saturday, Janaury 18 from 10:00 to 12:00 pm ONLY. Information on the arrival process, checking in, signing up for wireless internet, and more is located on the Incoming Students Arrival Information page . Please review this information prior to coming to campus. Additional information on the check-in process will be sent to your delhi student email address. Saturday, August 19
10:00 am – 12:00 pm: Residence Hall Move-In, Assigned Residence Hall
10:00 am – 1:30 pm: Orientation Check-In & ID Card Pickup, Lobby/CADI Office, Farrell Center
12:00 pm – 1:00 pm: Lunch (Families Welcome at no cost) MacDonald Dining Center
1:00 pm – Welcome from Dr. Mary Bonderoff, President, The Okun Theatre, Farrell Center
1:15 pm – 2:45 pm: Parent Breakout Session, The Okun Theatre, Farrell Center
Parents have a 30 minute break after this session.
1:15 pm - 3:10 pm: Student Breakout Opening Sessions
3:15 pm - 4:10 pm: Students and Parents - Delhi Essentials, The Okun Theatre
Parents are asked to please depart following this session.
4:15 pm - 5:10 pm: Student Breakout Session - Writing Skills and Note Taking, Evenden 205
5:15 pm - 6:00 pm: Dinner, MacDonald Dining Center
6:00 pm - 6:55 pm: Student Breakout Session - Degree Works & Schedules, The Okun Theater, Farrell Center
7:00 P.M. (Tentative) Residence Life Meeting, TBA, Farrell Center
7:30 pm: Group Time with Leaders

January Bronco Ready Orientation is a mandatory program for all new incoming students including commuters and transfer students. Any checklist items or related matters should be completed before or after the program. Please refer to the Accepted Students Page to ensure you have completed those checklist items.
