New Scholarships for Online Students

To lower your cost of attendance and help you earn your college degree fully online, SUNY Delhi has launched new merit scholarships for incoming online students.

See the benefits:

  • A $1,000 scholarship for any online undergraduate program
  • A $2,000 scholarship for any master’s program
  • Scholarships are awarded in your first semester

Easy steps to apply:

  1. Submit your application by May 1 for the Fall term or December 1 for the Spring term.
  2. Complete your online merit scholarship request form after your acceptance. Act early – scholarships are limited.

Former Students - How to Apply

Deadlines for Admissions 

  • Online Undergraduate Programs (except RN to BSN), applications must be submitted no later than two-weeks prior to the start of the semester.
  • Online RN to BSN Program, rolling admissions for J term, if classes fill you will be considered for K term. Deadline for K term is two weeks prior to the start of term.

Required Documentation

  • Copy of all official college transcript(s), including the General Education Transfer Addendum (GETA) from SUNY schools (Academic transcripts are required for all colleges attended, whether you received credit or not.)
  • Supplemental Information Form

Online Nursing students must provide a copy of your current RN license or proof that you have passed your NCLEX, within six months of enrollment.

Online IBEW students must provide a copy of your Journeyman Certification, and American Council on Education ACE Transcript.

Foreign Transcripts

If you've attended a foreign college (outside of the U.S.), your transcripts must be evaluated by an evaluation service and arrive in a sealed envelope from the evaluation agency containing a degree and course-by-course evaluation.

Admissions Requirements

Prospective transfer students must meet the following admissions requirements for the program they are applying to in order to be considered for admissions.

Please note, pathway courses must be completed prior to admission into our online programs. Contact online@delhi.edu with questions on these requirements.

Business Management (BBA)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate degree in Business, associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with pathway courses 
    • Managerial Accounting, Business Management, Business Law I, Principles of Marketing, Intro to Software Applications, and Micro or Macro Economics

Criminal Justice (BS)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with relevant coursework
  • Graduates from a Law Enforcement Academy will receive 15 credits of Advanced Standing toward the bachelor's degree.

Culinary Arts Management (BBA)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate degree in Culinary Arts, associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with pathway courses 
    • Pathway courses: Culinary I and LAB, Financial Accounting, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Menu Planning and Controls, Nutrition I, Professional Baking with Lab

Event Management (BBA)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate degree in Event Management, associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with relevant coursework with pathway courses 
    • Pathway courses: Financial Accounting, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Hospitality Marketing, Introduction to Meeting and Event Planning, Introduction to Software Applications

Electrical Construction and Instrumentation: IBEW (AOS)

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of your 5-year Inside Wireman A Apprenticeship Program - JATC 

Hotel and Restaurant Management (BBA)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate Degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management, associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with relevant coursework with pathway courses 
    • Pathway courses: Financial Accounting, Introduction to Hospitality Management, Hospitality Marketing, Front Office Management OR Lodging Accommodations Management

Human Resource Management (BBA)

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
  • Associate Degree in Human Resource Management, associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution with relevant coursework, or 60 credits completed with relevant coursework with pathway courses 
    • Pathway courses: Management, Business Law, Human Resource Management, Managerial Accounting, Introduction to Software Applications, Introductory Macroeconomics or Microeconomics 

Nursing: Online RN-to-BSN

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.6
  • Associate Degree in Nursing from an accredited institution 

Veterinary Science Technology (AAS) Requirements:

  • Students with field experience will be given special consideration towards admissions requirements.
  • 85 + High School GPA
  • NY State Students must have a Regents Diploma
  • Transfer Students must have a 3.0 GPA
  • 4 Years English
  • 3 Years Math (Algebra, Geometry, Algebra Trigonometry or Algebra II, or a college level Math)
  • 3 Years Science (Biology/living environment required, Chemistry strongly recommended)
  • Suggested (BOCES, Volunteer, work in the field)

Healthcare Management Admissions Requirements

  • Minimum cumulative transfer grade point average (GPA) of 2.0.
  • Associate degree (AA or AS) from an accredited institution and pathways, or equivalent 60 credits with pathway courses completed
  • Pathway Courses: Managerial Accounting, Business Management, Healthcare Management,
  • Human Resource Management, Anatomy & Physiology I (with lab), Intro to Software Applications.
