Attention Nursing Students!

Scholarship Opportunity To Help With College Expenses Healthcare Grant.

Purpose: to create sustainable employment and education/training programs in healthcare occupations serving rural populations.

Amount of Grant: A one-time $2,000 grant per student to assist with tuition expenses. Eligibility Requirements:

• Must be enrolled in the RN program

• Must reside in one of the following counties of NYS:

  • Delaware, Otsego, Chenango, Herkimer, Madison, Oneida, Fulton, Montgomery, Jefferson, Lewis, Warren, Washington, Essex, St. Lawrence, Hamilton, Franklin, Clinton

  • Must have at least 6 months of full-time work experience (in any field prior to enrolling in RN program)

• Must be an adult who is continuing education due to:

  • having been unemployed or underemployed

  • having desire for career change

  • having worked in healthcare and wish to increase credentials (RN)
