Deque University
Online, Self-Paced Accessibility Training
SUNY has entered into an agreement with Deque Systems Inc. to provide accessibility training across all SUNY campuses. Deque University is an online digital accessibility training platform that provides comprehensive training on a wide variety of topics including web accessibility, document accessibility, accessibility management, testing, disability etiquette and more.
The courses are online, self-paced, and take from 30 minutes to 6 hours to complete. Most courses will take 60 to 90 minutes. Courses are designed for a wide range of technical skills, from easy to advanced. The introduction page included for each course provides information on the primary intended audience, technical level, suggested prerequisites, and duration.
Access to Deque University
How do I get started?
- Check to see if you already have a Deque account already by logging into Deque University using your campus email as the username, select "Forgot Password". If you have an existing account, this will enable the password recovery/reset.
- Faculty, Staff, and Students will need to use your SUNY Delhi email address to enroll in Deque University.
- Enroll Here to request to receive a Deque University account.
- You will receive an email from training@deque.com with Welcome Information and further instruction to set-up your Deque account, once you have been enrolled into the Deque University platform.
- Once you have been enrolled into the platform. Be sure to check SPAM/Junk folders for this Welcome email as well.
- Enrollment into Deque University occurs on a weekly basis on Mondays'. If you are submitting the enrollment form, after the Monday of a given week, please expect to receive Deque Access information on the following Monday.
