Commencement 2025
For Students
Saturday, May 17, 2025, 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
August 2024 and December 2024 Graduates: If you plan to participate in 2025 Commencement ceremony on May 17, please complete the RSVP to Walk form in Commencement by April 11, 2025.
May 2025 Graduates:
- All anticipated May 2025 graduates must complete the Petition to Graduate form by March 15, 2025.
- To participate in the commencement ceremony on May 17, please complete the RSVP to Walk form in Commencement by April 11, 2025.
Students who have two course or less left to complete (planning to earn their degree in August 2025 or December 2025) may walk in the May 2025 Commencement Ceremony. These students must complete the Petition to Graduate form by March 15, 2025 and complete the RSVP to Walk form in Commencement by April 11, 2025.
Attend the Graduation Fair on Thursday, March 13 in Farrell Commons.
Order Regalia: Caps and gowns will be ready for pick up at the Barnes & Noble Bookstore in April. The Bookstore also carries the following cords:
- Veterinary Honor Society
- Veterinary Science Peer Mentors
- Nursing Honors
- Honors
Attend the Presidential Graduation Celebration on Thursday, May 15 from 5:30 - 7:30 pm. Music, free food, refreshments, and a champagne
toast (for those over 21) will be provided. Sign up through the following RSVP Form. Additional information will be shared via email.
Attend the 2025 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 17.
Parking: Park in any available campus parking and walk to the courtyard between Farnsworth and Smith for line up
Line Up: Please arrive by 9 a.m. and line up in the area designated for your school.
- Be sure to bring your cap, hood, and gown, any cords or stoles earned, and your name
card to be read at the ceremony
- Faculty/staff volunteers will be available at line up to help you with your regalia and any other assistance you might need
- For maximum comfort, please also consider:
- Bobby pins for your cap, if needed
- A safety pin for your hood
- Applying sunscreen in advance
- Bringing a water bottle (bottle filling stations will be available)
Weather Contingency Plan:
- In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made 48 hours prior to the ceremony on location.
- If the commencement ceremony cannot be held outside, it will take place in the gymnasium at the Clark Field House.
- If the ceremony is in the gym, each graduate will be allowed three guests only due to space constraints. Guests will need to present tickets upon arrival. Ticket details will be available soon.
- On the day of graduation, please arrive at the Clark Field House at 9 a.m.
