For Students
- Complete the Petition to Graduate Form by March 15.
Note: Submitting a late petition or RSVP form may result in your name and/or honors not being published correctly or at all in the commencement program. Please be sure to complete the necessary steps on time to avoid these issues. - Complete the RSVP to Walk in Commencement Form by May 1.
Students with two courses or less left to complete in their degree program may walk in the May 2024 Commencement Ceremony. - Attend the Graduation Fair on Thursday, April 4 in Farrell Commons

Order regalia (cap and gown) if you are planning to walk at the Commencement Ceremony
To order graduation regalia online, the deadline to order through the Herff Jones website is April 5th.The bookstore has caps and gowns available for purchase. Caps, gowns, and tickets may be picked up at the bookstore through the morning of graduation. On Saturday May 18th, the bookstore will open at 8 am.
- Attend the Presidential Graduation Celebration on Thursday, May 16 at Bluestone Restaurant.
Pre-dinner: enjoy a cap making workshop. Enjoy appetizers and enjoy a DJ to celebrate your accomplishments. There will also be a photo booth available to take pictures with your friends. To attend, please RSVP to the Presidential Graduation Celebration by May 5. - Attend the 2024 Commencement Ceremony on Saturday, May 18.
Parking: Please park in any available campus parking and walk to the courtyard between Farnsworth and Smith for line up - Line Up: Please arrive by 9 a.m. and line up in the area designated for your school.
Be sure to bring your cap, hood, and gown, any cords or stoles earned, and your name card to be read at the ceremony.
Faculty/staff volunteers will be available at line up to help you with your regalia and any other assistance you might need. - For maximum comfort, also consider:
- Bobby pins for your cap, if needed
- A safety pin for your hood
- Applying sunscreen in advance
- Bringing a water bottle (bottle filling stations will be available) - Weather Contingency Plan
- In the event of inclement weather, a decision will be made 48 hours prior to the ceremony on location.
- If the commencement ceremony cannot be held outside, it will take place in the gymnasium at the Clark Field House.
- If the ceremony is in the gym, each graduate will be allowed three guests only due to space constraints. Guests will need to present tickets upon arrival. On the day of graduation, please arrive at the Clark Field House at 9 a.m.
