Enrollment and Degree Verifications

An enrollment verification - sometimes referred to as proof of enrollment - is documentation that shows that a student is enrolled (registered) at SUNY Delhi. Enrollment verifications are most commonly requested for health or dental insurance coverage, housing, employment, and scholarship purposes. Additionally, car insurance companies may offer "Good Student Discounts" that require policyholders to provide proof of a student's good academic standing.

Enrollment verification may be requested via our online form, in person, or by faxing/emailing a form to be filled out. Note that only the student may request an enrollment verification.

SUNY Delhi's definition of half-time and full-time is based on your registration for the term:
Status Undergraduate Students Graduate Students
Less Than Half Time 1-5 credits 1-4 credits
Half Time 6-11 credits 5-8 credits
Full Time 12 or more credits 9 or more credits

If requesting by mail or by phone, Enrollment Verification requests must include:

  • Your full name
  • Name when enrolled (if different)
  • Last 5 digits of your student identification number (800#)
  • Date of Birth (Month and Day)
  • Specify the term(s) you wish the enrollment verification to include
  • A daytime telephone number and address where we can contact you, if necessary
  • Complete name and address (or email address) of person or place receiving the verification

For Organizations/Outside Institutions

SUNY Delhi has authorized the National Student Clearinghouse to provide degree and enrollment verifications acting as our agent.  All organizations and outside institution requesting enrollment verifications must be processed through the National Student Clearinghouse.
